Our services
Individual Therapy
Emma is an experienced therapist and partner in self listening offering individual therapy services for people experiencing chronic stress, dysregulation, overwhelm, despair, anxiety, frustration, and shame. We partner to identify concerns and barriers, tend to painful and vulnerable emotions, build and authentically experience reciprocal relationships, and carve pathways to connect with yourself in daily life. This means more groundedness, ease, trust, and confidence to live your most meaningful life. Read more about Emma’s approach here and on Psychology Today. Kitchen Companion
Do you open your fridge and not know where to begin? Are you overwhelmed by the effort to feed yourself three times a day? Unable to notice or avoid hunger queues? Experience decision fatigue or unable to follow a recipe? Get defeated making a grocery list?
Emma is a seasoned kitchen companion helping people build sustainable nourishment strategies, kitchen skills, and confidence. This can look like exploring barriers and food rules, learning component cooking and following recipes, building a pantry or freezer for seasons of burnout, and identifying preferences and support people to keep you fed when your attention and efforts are elsewhere. This can be in addition to individual therapy or as an adjunct service that typically lasts 6-12 weeks and is covered by insurance. Complete the request form below to see if this makes sense for you!
Gatherings
Inspired by their personal, experiential cooking practice, Emma creates spaces for people to gently connect with themselves and others through food, meal making, and gathering. This offering is inspired by themes of emotional and physical nourishment for self and relationships. Emma facilitates unique mindful cooking experiences in group therapy, events, and workshops. Participants can expect a guided cooking experience, an overview of mindful awareness, therapeutic metaphor for self reflection, and dynamic discussion.
Emma is seeking partners to host group therapy for relationship with food, body, and cooking or workshops for continuing education, team and relationship building, and kitchen confidence and joy. Gather your people and needs and reach out to host or co-create a gathering. Explore our event archive and gallery here. For gathering and partnership inquiries, complete this form.
